I have to admit that I was very very nervous going into today's appointment. Since about Friday it seems that I have hit a wall (as mentioned in previous posts). Anyway, the contractions pretty much start within minutes of when I get up and move around. So after over 5 days of that I was terrified that these contractions would have shortened my cervix and put me on strict bed rest or even worse.... a hospital visit. Well I should never underestimate my super cervix because she is still a mile long at 4.5cm!!! WOO HOO! I know that number means nothing to most of you but just know that it is good news and shows us that these contractions aren't affecting my insides as of yet. Thank you Lord!!
The babies are doing PERFECT. They are so very cramped in there so we don't get to see as much as we use to so I don't really have any good pictures of them to share. One of the babies is actually so compact in there that her chin is tucked into her chest with her knees touching her forehead. Don't know if you can get that visual but trust me... it looked painful!
Here are their at 29 week stats:
Baby A (boy) is head down pressing on my bladder and cervix and is weighing in at
2lbs 12oz
Baby B (girl) is head down as well on my right side and is weighing in at
2lbs 10oz
Baby C (girl) is breech on my left side and is weighing in at
2lbs 9oz
That is just shy of 8lbs of baby! YIKES!
All of these weights are between the 45-55 percentile so they are growing and thriving wonderfully in my belly which is such a blessing to hear. It is amazing what a body can do!!! So all is good right now and I pray it continues like this for the next 7 weeks (ok, I ain't gonna lie.... I would be happy with like 5 more weeks but that is me being selfish).
Below I have posted some belly pictures (please excuse the dirty bathroom mirror). The first pic is of me with Emily so you can see just how big I am compared to last time.

Wow! Your cervix should win an award! That is great news. Glad you are taking it easier since the ickies have set in. I am getting pretty uncomfortable, too, so I am sure you are miserable at times!
Those are some big babies! I am so happy for you all to get such wonderful news each visit. The comparative belly pictures are hilarious. I should do that with my daughter's pregnancy too. Good idea.
