My how time flies when you are sleep deprived and busy busy busy. I can't believe my babies are 3 months old today!!! The first six weeks were a complete blur and I hardly remember a thing. It makes me sad in a way that I feel like I missed out on so much due to my complete and utter exhaustion. You can't get that time back but honestly I don't know if I want to relive it either! The triplets still have their three distinct personalities. Leah is still the "model child", sleeping through the night and only crying when her diaper is dirty. She is so content and laid back. Benjamin has turned in to our highest maintenance child. I thought it was Sara but I think Benjamin has taken the spot. He has the most trouble sleeping at night out of all three. I have to go in the nursery atleast one to four times a night to give him his paci. He fusses often during the day and is a COMPLETE mama's boy and I love it (the mama's boy part)!! Sara is still just a tiny petite little thing. Knock on wood but her reflux seems to be getting much better. We give her Zantac twice a day for it. She sleeps very well during the night too. She is probably our most social child and is constantly smiling and talking to you. All three are very smiley and talkative babies but Sara seems a little more social. All three of them are as sweet as pie and I still am in awe everytime I look at them. I am not going to say things are easy by any means but I can say that things have gotten considerably better. Ben and I have a pretty good routine (we make a damn good team!) and seem overall less stressed these days. It is a busy busy life but it is going smoother and we are so thankful for that. Emily is the typical toddler. I can't believe she will be 3 at the end of March. She is funny, smart, stubborn and defiant at times. She is very excited about Christmas and about Santa and his reindeer coming to land on our roof. We kept telling her that Santa was going to come and leave presents under the tree. Well one day during her nap, I finally was able to wrap some presents and put them under the tree. She woke up so thrilled when she saw presents under the tree and yelled, "Santa came! Santa came!". It was very hard for her to understand that she couldn't open those presents yet and that they weren't from Santa. She loves to sing Christmas songs and enjoys looking at all the lights. I think this is going to be a fun Christmas for her. She has adapted pretty good to life with three siblings. She has actually learned to play well by herself because of this. I still have major guilt about not being able to give as much time to her as I use to and about not getting to take her places as often due to the strict rules with the triplets going out in the public. I am just so ready for April so we can all get out of here!!! Rumor has it that Santa (GG Santa) is getting us a Wii for Christmas. Ben and I are so excited!! I am hoping to get a Wii Fit maybe after Christmas (if the price is right) so I can get in shape. Anyway, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas.
