Get this: I actually got eight, yes you heard it right, EIGHT straight hours of sleep last night. It felt so so good!!! As most of you know, we have night help 3 nights a week from 10-6 (best gift in the whole world, let me tell ya). Up until last night, I would have to wake 1-2 times a night to pump milk so I would never get more than a 3 hour stretch of sleep when they were here. Well, I have tapered off on the pumping these last few days (only pumping every 6 hours) and was able to go eight hours last night. The sleep was so wonderful.... I LOVE MY DOULA. I say that but she hardly ever gets to see me because on the nights that she is here, I am upstairs and getting ready for bed and then Ben lets her out in the morning while I am pumping. She probably wonders if I really exist, lol. I just like to take full advantage while she is here! :) Anyway, like I said above, I have stopped pumping every 3 hours and have slowly got it to every 6. As expected, I am not producing as much milk but I was literally killing myself trying to care of Emily and the babies along with me being a slave to my pump. I now have a little more time... YAY! These past few days, I have started breastfeeding Benjamin and Leah a couple of times a day. Unfortunately, little Sara is having a hard time figuring it out but I am so happy to be able to do that with them when I can.
Emily is still adjusting pretty well to being a big sister. She has a fond attachment to Leah for some reason and always says, "Leah is my best friend in the whole wide world!". It's cute! She still acts out when other people are here for some reason but when it is just the two of us she behaves and loves helping me out. It is amazing how fast the days go by when I am here alone. It goes something like this:
7am-8:15 Feed babies
8:30 Dress and get Emily up and ready for the day
9-10am Emily eats breakfast (slowest eater in the world)
9:50am Get bottles ready and warmed
10am Baby #1 is fed etc, etc
I usually finish around 11:15 so I have about 45 minutes to spare to clean up from breakfast and other household chores (maybe even brush my teeth or brush my hair!)
12pm LUNCH for Emily (she spends this whole hour slowly eating)
1pm Time to feed the babies again
2:15 Emily's naptime
I take this time between 2:15 and 3:45 to pump, do laundry (we have constant laundry), clean up, maybe get in a shower.
So that is a brief description of my day. It is non stop but before I know it, my wonderful husband is walking in the door by 5!! Hope you all have a great fall weekend. I am looking forward for this chilly weather heading our way.

Awww I am so so so glad to hear you are getting some sleep. That is great! You are super momma to pump so much...
Isn't constant laundry LOVELY...Between the 4 kids and Scott's Army stuff I am very rarely caught up..I have just learned to accept the every growing/shrinking/growing pile in the laundry room haha...Maybe that can be on your "help" list for those volunteers...
Thanks for the update you are amazing!!!
Everytime I read a post from you I am overwhelmed with tears. I am so glad that things are starting to fall into place and look forward to hear of all of your adventures. I wish I could be there IRL with you. Amanda said it... you are super momma! God Bless you and your family!
